Warehouse Parts Coordinator

Division: Contract Logistics/Transportation Management

Department: MHR

Status: Non-exempt

Summary:

The Parts Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the parts inventory.

Job Duties: -

* Orders parts for mechanics

* Verifies that work orders are correct and include all mechanic parts needed

* Maintains inventory

* Other duties as required and assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency

* Minimum 6 months to 1 year related experience

* PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual

* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and temperate climate conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
