Description
The McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering seeks to develop a pool of candidates for professional track faculty positions to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses. Positions are part-time and contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Positions may not be available every year. The McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering's undergraduate and graduate programs are both top-10 ranked programs in the nation according to U.S. News & World Report. The department leads pioneering research and education in vital areas such as energy and the environment, human health, materials and manufacturing. Our faculty includes 12 members of the National Academy of Engineering and two National Medal of Technology and Innovation recipients. Our students go on to transform industries, benefit society and improve quality of life. A Ph.D. in chemical engineering or a related field is required, but exceptions can be made for applicants with a Master's degree and pertinent expertise and work experience. Previous teaching and/or training experience is preferred. SALARY: Dependent on position and qualifications. Application Instructions
