Job Summary:

Ingersoll Rand's Compression Systems & Services, Americas (CSS) business provides a wide range of quality compression technologies and services globally. We have an opportunity for a transformational Warehousing Logistics Engineer to executive for our largest manufacturing site

Responsibilities:


  • Developing layouts for warehousing systems that optimize space utilization and streamline processes.

  • Analyzing and recommending improvements in logistics operations, systems, and processes.

  • Motivate and guide team in environmental health and safety, quality, fulfillment, cost, cash and employee engagement objectives

  • Involvement in defining capital needs for responsible area

  • Develops team leads and employees. Training staff on new systems and technology relevant to logistics and warehousing

  • Evaluates multiple forecast and order input and overlays these against production, work orders and capacities to understand what work will be done where



Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain management or related field

  • Must have at least 5+ years' experience in Supervision, Materials Management, preferably in industrial industry

  • Problem solving capabilities and data analysis required. Strong analytical and project management skills are necessary.

  • Has to be able to clearly and concisely deliver instructions to the production team. Must also be able to deal with team-management issues quickly and effectively.

  • High proficiency in Excel



Competencies:


  • Devises action plans for non-conforming issues

  • Acts as an extension to Management in their respective department

  • Assisting in the selection, implementation, and maintenance of warehouse management systems

  • Conducting time and motion studies to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains.

  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure that logistics considerations are integrated into overall operational strategies.

  • Developing risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.



Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements


  • Fully site based 100% onsite in Mocksville, NC.
