The Warehouse Technician II is a position within the Warehouse & Distribution teams that will float between warehouses as daily workloads require and will drive a company truck to transport materials from the warehouse to the corresponding production locations. During the first 6 to 12 months, this position will work Monday through Thursday for 10 hours each day until the increase in production begins and the shift will change to Sunda through Thursday for 8 hours each day. The Warehouse Technician II position will perform an array of functions that may include transporting raw materials to the production sites; receiving and processing of incoming stocks and materials; picking and filling orders from stock; packing and shipping orders; and labeling and packaging of semi-finished products. This position ensures that daily routine functions are completed accurately and timely and in accordance with all applicable regulations and policies.
Material movement to production * Load, transport and unload materials from warehouse to production multiple times a week * Class B driver's license to transport non-hazardous materials Receiving of incoming stocks and materials * Unload deliveries from carriers * Verify incoming deliveries per applicable SOPs * Receiving functions within operating system * Organization of material into appropriate storage areas * Material movement using power industrial truck * Monitor consumable stock needs for shipments Labeling and Packaging * Reception, verification and storage of incoming labels * Retrieval of semi-finished stocks accurately * Issuance of components of packaging within operating system * Set up, load, run and unloading of machines * Accurate recording keeping * Material movement using power industrial truck Order Preparation and Distribution * Obtain orders from US or Export customer relations departments * Preparation of order prior to picking and packing * Accurately pick orders from locations noted * Inspection of items and quantity picked * Issuance of order items within operating system and on USDA compliance logs * Prepare packaging per applicable SOPs and shipment requirements * Export documentation preparation as necessary * Process shipping through specified carriers and stage for pick up * Assist in preparing site to site material transfers Workflow and Reporting * Accurate and concurrent record keeping * Completion of finished product work orders * Work with support teams for workload management and scheduling * Verification of incoming semi-finished stocks from production * Concurrent material movement physically and within operating system * Demonstrate a safety culture in day to day operations, including performing of JSA's and safety audits * Quality Assurance understanding, assisting in checking documentation and investigations * Perform periodic inventory cycle counts * Perform yearly physical inventory Training and Compliance * Comply with all area SOPs * Comply with company policies * Comply with USDA regulations * Comply with safety regulations * Comply with OSHA, DOT and IATA regulations * Obtain company certification to operate power industrial truck

Master of Warehouse Technician II Responsibilities and Key Duties: Coachability, interpersonal relations & ability to foster teamwork, initiative, thoroughness & attention to detail, flexibility and analytical thinking. * Exhibit customer knowledge and demonstrate understanding of the customer issues and processes to anticipate and propose solutions for customer satisfaction. * Knowledge of basic ways of transportation * Knowledgeable of warehousing processes and constraints to be able to adapt solutions. * Knowledge of quality, regulatory affairs, GMP and financial guidelines in order to challenge and optimize the warehouse management. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written * Empowering and influencing others * Conceptual thinking * Technical expertise * Ability to work both independently, with minimal supervision as well as in fast paced team environment * Ability to work outside of set schedule * Time management skills
Education - High School Diploma or GED Work Experience - 2 years of Warehouse & Distribution experience in a manufacturing environment Other - IATA and DOT certification, Cold Chain packing and shipping solutions preferred, Lean Manufacturing preferred, Good Warehousing and Distribution Practices required. Must hold a valid Driver's License and be able to pass a driving background check to be insured for commercial driving. Must have the ability to obtain Power Industrial Truck License.
