Position: Senior Construction Inspector
Location: Ft Myers, FL

Your Responsibilities as a Sr Construction Inspector:
* Observes work in progress to determine whether construction procedures followed, and materials used, are in reasonable conformance with plans and specifications.
* Measures distances to verify accuracy of dimensions of installations and layouts for roadways, parking lots, drainage, and utilities.
* Reviews plans and construction staking for ADA compliance.
* Verifies alignment and elevation of infrastructure installations to confirm it's being installed per plan location.
* Interprets plans, specifications, and contract documents and communicates requirements to clients and contractors.
* Maintains daily log of construction and inspection activities and compares progress reports.
* Track progress and quantity of construction work items.
* Perform and document testing of certain construction work items as defined in the contract documents.
* Reviews project plans for land development projects and provides comments on potential construction conflicts and provide feedback to engineers.
What we're looking for:
- Construction experience is required in roadway, drainage, underground utilities.
- Pay will be commensurate with experience level.
- 10 years of experience preferred.
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Must have an excellent driving record, be at least 21 years of age and have a valid Florida driver's license.
