In support of Dollar Bank's Mission of being an inclusive community bank that invests in our customers, empowers our employees, and strengthens our communities, the Manager of Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity is responsible to develop, manage, and execute programs and initiatives that focus on the recruitment, development, and empowerment of a diverse workforce and inclusive workspace. To further our Value of Inclusion and advancing a culture of respect towards greater inclusion, diversity, and equity for all employees and customers, the incumbent develops initiatives to foster knowledge and awareness of diversity as a business strategy and helps support an inclusive culture where all employees can achieve personal and professional success. Uses statistics, metrics, and reports to assess the progress and effectiveness of diversity initiatives. Designs procedures and processes to ensure compliance with internal polices and external diversity regulations. Also assists in related efforts including supplier diversity.
Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience required. *Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive responsibility leading inclusion, diversity, and equity programs *Two (2) years management experience required. *Proven ability to advance inclusion initiatives and programs within an organization. *Experience with data management and analysis. *Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point and other Microsoft products. *Experience establishing and executing on department goals and strategies. *Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and staff. *Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive human resources data. *Experience managing and executing projects, milestones, deliverables. *Experience with developing and executing training presentations for a variety of audiences. Principal Activities and Duties: *Develop, plan, and execute programs that support Dollar Bank's Mission and Values, and ensures an inclusive environment for all employees. *Drive diverse talent identification and retention strategies for multi-state employee population. *Work collaboratively with the Talent Acquisition team to develop and maintain partnerships with organizations and partners to help expand Dollar Bank's efforts to attract and retain diverse talent. May include participating and speaking on behalf of the Bank at career events such as community events, professional associations, and job fairs. *Work collaboratively with Executive Management in the development and review of key diversity metrics and goals and establishing and executive programs that support the objectives. *Promote a positive image and positive external relations for the Bank by communicating and interacting within the communities we serve as it relates to matters surrounding diversity efforts and talent attraction. *Assist in developing and reviewing business practices that support Dollar Bank's commitment to equal employment opportunity. Ensure compliance with applicable federal/state laws, policies, and procedures (e.g., Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity, Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, etc.). *Maintain strong collaborative working relationships among cross functional teams. *Oversee the direction of the Bank's Employee Resource Networks (ERN's) and ensure programs help foster an inclusive culture and support the development of the participants. *Lead and coordinate the Bank's Inclusion Council. *Assist in the Bank's supplier diversity efforts and work collaboratively with other areas responsible for Bank purchasing and procurement to ensure effective programs are established. *Assist in the development and execution of training in the areas of inclusion, diversity, and other associated topics. *Prepare a variety of reports and correspondence, including but not limited to diversity and inclusion efforts required by state and federal agencies, committees, and senior management. *All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank's risk management program. Compliance with regulatory laws and company procedures is a required component of all position descriptions. *Travel up to 10% as needed. |
