Rutgers School of Nursing, Entry to Baccalaureate Division seeks nursing professionals to teach a CLINICAL component for the following specialties:
- Medsurg
- Community
- Maternity
- Mental Health Nursing
General Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and supervision in the acute and non-acute (clinical labs/continuity of nursing care/community nursing) clinical settings and assist during simulation teaching.
- Follow course syllabi to help students achieve set learning outcomes.
- Communicate with the Course Leader/Lead Instructor/Course Coordinator on an ongoing basis regarding student progress or any concerns.
- Attend course meetings before the semester start and when requested.
- Evaluate, grade, and provide feedback on required course assignments and tasks (i.e., Care plans, specialty papers, research projects, med math, etc.)
- Report a grade for each student to the Course Leader/Lead Instructor/Course Coordinator by the due date.
- Attend and participate in the simulation with your clinical group as scheduled.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
o Minimum Master's Degree in Nursing Required
o Doctoral Degree in Nursing or related discipline, preferred.
o Teaching experience with baccalaureate nursing students preferred. |

o Current licensure or eligibility for RN licensure in New Jersey |

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
