Territory: Southeast

Covering: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and northern Mississippi

The Role

This position is responsible for selling OrthogenRx products to high-potential HCP accounts within a specified geography. Specialties span Orthopedic Surgery, Sports Medicine, PM&R, Rheumatology, and Pain Management. Most frequent call points are HCP outpatient practices, but may also include hospital systems, academic centers, and specialty pharmacies.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Achieve/Exceed sales goals in the assigned territory through promotion of OrthogenRx products (i.e. GenVisc850) to HCPs and other stakeholders involved in HA clinical usage, and/or purchasing decisions.
  • Call on targeted Orthopedic Surgery, Sports Medicine, PM&R, Rheumatology, and Pain Management practices/HCPs.
  • Promote and educate healthcare professionals on the indication, usage, specifications, safety and efficacy of OrthogenRx products (i.e. GenVisc850) through meetings, presentations, and other appropriate means.
  • Represent OrthogenRx in the field, ensuring high levels of visibility and customer satisfaction in territory.
  • Build consultative sales relationships and maintain effective communication with key customers and prospects.
  • Communicate and work effectively across pertinent departments within OrthogenRx.
  • Work with/Partner with independent distributors and leverage their relationships/contacts to create new opportunity, expand reach, and improve access in key accounts.
  • Intelligently use and organize data to prioritize opportunities and route accordingly.
  • Develop and implement strategic territory business plan to exceed goals
  • Responsibly manage and utilize company resources, including IOE (in-office education) budget, company literature/marketing materials, and patient benefits investigation tool (electronic HUB services)
  • Foster teamwork and proactive, open communication, ensuring coordination of promotional effort with peers.
  • Demonstrate OrthogenRx values by adhering to corporate policies.
  • Operate within full compliance with AdvaMed and OIG guidelines as directed by OrthogenRx.
  • Accurately report sales activities through CATS mobile SFA using provided tablet
  • Create and submit timely, accurate expense reports using Concur.
  • Attend all company sales and medical meetings and conference calls as directed by company management (POAs, National Sales Meetings, Regional and Local Conventions, etc.).



Your Qualifications

Required:



  • BS/BA degree
  • Minimum of two (2) years of proven sales experience (exceeding quota) preferably promoting specialty products in medical device, biotech or specialty pharmaceutical industries.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a track record of sustained strong sales achievement
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well independently; self-motivated
  • Effective time management
  • Must reside within the assigned territory
  • Overnight travel will vary depending on territory size



Preferred:



  • Previous B2B or physician buy & bill experience
  • Ortho, Sports Med, PM&R, Pain, &/or Rheum background
