As the Director of fdx Sales, you will be a key member of FedEx's team responsible for building and leading a high-performance sales and marketing organization focused on selling digital solutions. Reporting to the Vice President, you will develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. Your role involves managing a B2B SaaS sales team, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and analyzing market trends to drive success in a competitive landscape.

Essential Functions

  • Sales Strategy Development:
    • Develop and execute fdx's sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to inform product and pricing strategies.
    • Establish and monitor KPIs and metrics to track and measure sales performance.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Build and manage a high-performing sales team across all levels.
    • Inspire, motivate, and guide individuals and teams toward achieving common goals while fostering a positive work environment.
    • Provide comprehensive oversight for sub-projects from ideation through execution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Relationships:
    • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients across the company.
    • Develop insights to maintain continuous visibility into program progress and outcomes.
    • Present to executives on risks, roadblocks, successes, and overall program health.
  • Standards & Execution:
    • Ensure adherence to common program management standards and operating models to guarantee robust execution and accelerated delivery of projects.
    • Promote a proactive team player attitude, passionate about cooperation and influence, and driven by success.
  • Financial Management:
    • Partner with finance to oversee project costing and valuation, ensuring financial targets are met.
    • Demonstrate strong entrepreneurial and business acumen in managing resources and budgets.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business administration, marketing, or a related discipline.

Minimum Experience

Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role in the B2B SaaS industry. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced and competitive market. Experience in developing and implementing effective sales strategies and tactics. Demonstrated success in building, managing, and growing a digital sales team with significant annual revenue. Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools to drive data-driven decision-making.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Strong entrepreneurial and business acumen.
Excellent business acumen, organizational awareness, human relations, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to influence others, develop strategy, lead people, and drive executive-level programs.
Experience in startup and large corporate experience considered a plus.

Preferred Qualifications: Proven track record meeting & exceeding sales targets. Experience in developing & implementing effective sales strategies. Proven success in building, managing & growing a digital sales team selling a new product with significant annual revenue. Experience with CRM software & sales analytics. Sales leadership experience in the B2B SaaS industry.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement

Pay: $12,476.52/month - $22,873.62/month

Additional Details: This position may be located anywhere within the United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii and US territories. Depending on your location, you may be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week.
