Job Description

The School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine are dedicated to fostering an innovative and supportive environment for our staff and faculty. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Finance & Accounting Analyst to join our team and contribute to our mission of excellence in healthcare and education.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Finance & Accounting Analyst to provide financial and accounting guidance and oversight to all divisions and workgroups within our fiscal office. This role involves a variety of financial tasks, including monthly reviews, payroll reconciliation, and year-end processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
* Annual Responsibilities:
o Manage annual MOU's.
o Manage the year-end process, including incentives and cleaning accounts/deficits.
* Monthly Financial Management:
o Conduct financial reviews with division coordinators.
o Analyze financial division reports from web applications and Workday.
o Reconcile payroll accounts and generate variance reports.
o Review UP statements and resolve discrepancies with the UP and Revenue teams.
o Oversee the MBM accounts and receivables reports.
* Ongoing Financial Oversight:
o Ensure proper segregation of duties in payroll corrections and journal entries.
o Update and maintain the Mo Code dictionary and Budget error reports daily.
o Process journal entries and ensure compliance with financial protocols.
* Reporting & Communication:
o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and semiannual incentives and payout reviews.
o Provide requested reports to project managers and keep files updated.
o Attend leadership and revenue integration meetings, offering financial training as needed.
* Collaboration:
o Work closely with division coordinators and project managers to forecast expenditures and support budget processes.
o Communicate effectively to ensure all parties are informed and aligned on financial matters.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $51,875 - $72,000 Annually
Grade: GGS-010
