A valid New York State License as a Professional Engineer and six (6) years of full-time satisfactory experience in chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, or plan examining work, at least two (2) years of which must have been in an executive, managerial, or administrative capacity. In addition to meeting the Minimum Qualification Requirements, A valid New York State License as a Professional Engineer is required. In addition, candidates must have at least ten (10) years of full-time paid experience in civil or structural engineering work, at least five (5) years which shall have been in a managerial role. Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form. Knowledge of various aspects of an interstate corridor which includes technical requirements, City, State and Federal environmental processes, funding issues, community involvement, traffic control and procurement protocols.
