The Salvation Army Mission Statement:

Job Objective:

Manage our Off Drug program. Plan meetings and outing for the clients and help them get into the treatment programs that will help them with their recovery and ensuring that the Mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out.

What You Will Do:




  • Plan Off Drug Support Meetings.
  • Plan Off Drug Support Outings and Fundraising events.
  • Connect with other agencies about programs available to participants.
  • Connect participants with ARC, Harbor Lights, and other agencies for rehabilitation.
  • Go to seminars and continued education for Support Groups
  • Participate in Education Fairs / Awareness
  • Maintain relevant offices files for program.
  • Answer phone calls and assist with other communication as directed by the corps officer.
  • Schedule meetings and sending meeting invites to attendees.
  • Other tasks as assigned by leadership
  • Keep statistics of all events and programs.



Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.

Education: High School Diploma required, Associate's Degree preferred.

Background Checks: Position requires a background check to be completed, and all background check results will be reviewed.

Experience: Two years of office experience preferred.

Certifications: Must have a valid driver's license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver's qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm training within the first 90 days of employment.

Skills/Abilities:



  • Able to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership, field personnel, and clientele.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft products and ability to learn electronic reporting systems.

Physical Requirements Include:



  • Good speaking, hearing and vision ability, and excellent manual dexterity
  • Lifting, pulling, and pushing of materials up to 25 pounds
  • May require bending, squatting, walking.
  • May require standing for extended


Travel: Position may require occasional travel for training. Camp assignments as well as other work-related travel. Some weekends.

Working Conditions: Work is performed in a typical office environment. May require some weekend and evening work; seasonal.
