Position Title:Senior Organizational Effectiveness Specialist Department:Human Resources Job Description:

This role is responsible for developing, facilitating, and deploying organizational effectiveness initiatives (non-clinical) that drive organizational and performance excellence. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, project management expertise, a continuous improvement mindset, and strong data analytic capabilities. The individual in this role must be able to manage a high volume of strategic initiatives while maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders and internal leaders.

  • Work with the Director Culture & Organizational Effectiveness to facilitate initiatives, programs, training, and outcomes that will drive a high-performing, people-centric culture in alignment with OU Health's Strategic Goals.
  • Support the delivery of the Performance Management system by assessing organizational needs, researching industry best practices, designing features to provide a positive customer experience, and training the workforce on the system's core capabilities.
  • Apply HR data analytical skills to collect, analyze, interpret, and report human capital performance metrics and other operational data to identify talent trends and root causes and recommend solutions to critical workforce issues.
  • Provide support to drive project requirements and plans, including managing timelines, communications, quality, and risks, uncovering roadblocks, defining critical paths, identifying resource constraints, and any other issues.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with organizational leaders, subject matter experts, and external consultants involved in organizational effectiveness initiatives. Oversee stakeholder groups as related to OE initiatives.
  • Develop resources, tools, slide decks, and training to support successful initiative launch strategies and drive leader buy-in. Must be a skilled trainer capable of facilitating organization-wide training with minimal supervision.
  • Partner with the Talent Development and Organizational Effectiveness Team to support and staff initiatives related to the new hire experience, learning and development and belonging and inclusion.
  • Complete ad-hoc and special projects based on changing business needs and strategic priorities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Education, Business, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Master's degree preferred.

Experience: 7 Years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus in Talent and Organizational Development or experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Preferred: Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Expertise in employee listening strategies, including survey and tactic development, strategy execution, action planning for improvement, and leader coaching.
  • Facilitate environments of performance excellence through design, development, and implementation of the ongoing performance management cycle to drive organizational success.
  • Proficient in fostering a cohesive organizational culture and adept at managing change processes, demonstrating a keen understanding of organizational dynamics and implementing strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and drive sustainable change initiatives.
  • Coordinate system-level communication strategies to frame initiatives within a greater cultural context, align contributor expectations and actions, and develop leader messaging and tools to drive organizational effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate project and program management experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • The ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple projects, and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
  • Knows how to establish and maintain working relationships, highly influential and collaborative with all levels of employees.
  • Proficient in making informed decisions regarding alignment with organizational goals.
  • Excellent large and small group facilitation and presentation skills.Experience working with outside vendors.
  • Works in excellence with integrity and judgment, has a positive attitude and has a strong passion for leadership and employee development.
  • Exhibits follow-through and meets deadlines effectively and efficiently.
  • Knows how to think proactively and use critical thinking skills to develop innovative and creative solutions to overcome organizational barriers.
  • Ability to develop quick turn-around, practical recommendations based on data and research to inform strategic decisions.
  • Excellent and effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in an approachable manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
