Student Affairs Coordinator (SAC) School of Pharmacy - Dean's Office Full Time 81152BR Job Summary The Student Affairs Coordinator (SAC) develops and implements core programs, services and events for PharmD students. The SAC manages the Co-Curricular Program to promote opportunities for student professional and personal development and learning outside the classroom. The SAC serves as the primary liaison to pharmacy specific student organizations and works with the Associate Dean for Student Affairs as the co-advisor to student government. The SAC coordinates career services including workshops, fairs and placement interviews, identifies and disseminates professional opportunities including internships, fellowships, residencies and career positions and serves as a liaison to alumni, faculty and prospective employers as well as the Office of Career & Professional Development. The SAC manages application/selection for School of Pharmacy scholarships and plans and manages special events including Orientation, White Coat Ceremony, Student Awards Ceremony, and Commencement. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $55,700 - $118,500 (Annual Rate). OSA staff serve as ambassadors for the PharmD program, representing the School to prospective students and external groups, and leading communication and marketing initiatives to develop a strong applicant pool. OSA staff provide comprehensive management of all aspects of the complex admissions process in conjunction with internal and external partners and applicants. OSA staff members play a critical role working in conjunction with campus student services offices to support student success inside and outside the classroom and create an environment to foster student growth. OSA provides responsive services and programs to address the needs of PharmD students, advising on academic and non-academic matters, assessment and resolution of student needs, issues, and concerns, and event planning/coordination to promote community and mark student transitions within the School of Pharmacy. Academic advising and oversight for student progression is centralized in the OSA; staff work closely with faculty and students to ensure students meet the School's academic standards.
