Job Description:


Summary

Analyzes regulatory programs and activities, ensuring compliance. Identify, propose and present solutions to potential non-compliance situations. Monitor regulatory developments and interpret potential impacts on the organization.

Essential Functions

This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.

* Performs activities related to obtaining government label approval for products.

* Participates in related government interaction and compliance activities within the organization during and after inspections or during regulatory actions initiated by government agencies.

* Serves as a subject matter expert and liaison with leaders, employees and Centers of Excellence (COE's) throughout the Enterprise.

* Serves as a liaison between external, third party agencies such leave management, Broadspire, and medical facilities.

* Reviews proposed activities by regulatory agencies to determine potential impact on the organization and advises management on such issues.

* Identifies potential non-compliance situations in advance and proposes solutions.

* Seeks appropriate support and participates in the management /resolution of non-compliance situations.

* Conducts tasks or projects unsupervised.

* Prepares and presents reports to management that defines/evaluates problems and uncovers possible solutions.

* Maintains appropriate files, records and documentation.

* Participates in the development of department procedures and performance measures.

* Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.

* Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of regulatory compliance, quality assurance, operational leadership, medical, food science, chemistry, winemaking or auditing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 7 years of regulatory compliance, quality assurance, operational leadership, medical, food science, chemistry, winemaking or auditing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility, Experience with medical related case management.

* Advanced skills in data management software such as Excel, Access or similar programs.

* Knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in legal studies, business administration, economics, or accounting plus 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

* Experience with reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.

* Experience with medical related case management especially focused on Workers Compensation and leave management.

* Experience with writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.

* Experience with effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

* Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.

* Experience with online COLA submittals.

* Experience with applying established procedures to situations that are non-routine in nature requiring some evaluation, originality or ingenuity.

* Experience with working on multiple projects at one time and organizing them appropriately.

* Knowledge of and experience with applying the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of this particular field of specialization.

* Demonstrated ability as a critical thinker.

* Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.

* Experience working with all levels and functions within the company.

Compensation



  1. Hiring Hourly Rate: $32.21 - $40.24.
  2. Actual compensation amount paid may be lower or higher to be determined by factors other than race and gender such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
