The salary range for this position is $215,000 - $320,000. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. Application Window Open date: September 18, 2024 Most recent review date: Sunday, Oct 6, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Monday, Jun 30, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The University of California Davis, School of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Transplant Nephrology is recruiting for a full-time position at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) or Clinical X series. Transplant Nephrology faculty responsibilities include direct inpatient and outpatient clinical care; teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; university/public service; and regular attendance at scheduled meetings and CME activities. Clinical efforts include all aspects of Transplant Nephrology, including pre-transplant candidate evaluation, inpatient consultation, post-transplant outpatient care, biopsy, and living donor candidate evaluation. The Clinical X position will assist in the development of the transplant clinical research center participating in multicenter pharmaceutical trials as well as investigator-initiated studies. It also requires additional scholarly activities, such as publications in peer-reviewed journals. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. M.D. or D.O. degree Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Nephrology Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of California. Demonstrated strong leadership experience and abilities and the ability to adhere to policies and procedures are required, as is the ability to work cooperatively and collegially in a diverse environment and adhere to policies and procedures. Equivalent training and experience in Transplant Nephrology Fellowship is required. Qualification to serve as UNOS physician for kidney program is also required.
