Vendor Relations Coordinator

The Vendor Relations Coordinator is a member of the CPU Vendor Relations Team whose primary responsibilities include serving as a department liaison and coordinating vendors. This position will also provide instrumentation and Implant Support.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience working with cleaning and disinfection products.
• Six (6) months experience working with instrument inventory and tray management.
• Experience working in a central sterile processing department.
• Experience using a computer and software programs to create/ update spreadsheets, tracking tools, professional documents and use email.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid current CA driver's license
• Certication from National Institute for Certication of Healthcare Sterile Processing & DistributionMust possess a sterile processing certication from either 1) Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) Certied Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or 2) from The Certication Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) - Certied sterile Processing Distribution Tech (CSPDT)
• Six (6) months work experience as a central sterile technician preferred.

Department Overview

Central Processing is one unit within Perioperative Services that supports 32 operating rooms by cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing surgical instrumentation and equipment, exible and ridged scopes, and case-picking equipment. The Central Processing unit also supports Patient Care Services and the Primary Care Network: within the health system by cleaning, disinfecting reusable equipment and the cleaning, disinfecting and sterilization of surgical instrumentation used by these services. The central processing unit also cleans and restocks all emergency crash carts; rst responder bags, airway boxes and ICU transport bags for the Health System. The Central processing unit manages scal, materiel, and human resources to support the planning and coordination of surgical care and other patient care in the hospital and clinics.
