Information will be obtained by interviewing the patient, family members, retail pharmacy, nursing home documentation/staff, and any other available resources. The accurate home list will be documented in eCare to be used by physicians and other healthcare providers to determine treatment plans and medication orders during admission and post-discharge. The technician will communicate pertinent information (i.e. medications that need to be clarified with the physician and/or other healthcare providers) to the supervising pharmacist. VA OR NC Pharmacy Technician Registration Number 1 Year Pharmacy Technician, pharmacy retail experience preferred. This position will require two 4-hour shifts at Sentara BelleHarbour and one weekend a month at Sentara Obici Hospital.
