487 - Retail Assistant Store Manager I

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the agency's policies and procedures. Directly
supervises the store management team, store associates, program participants, volunteers, and
community service participants; performs work of subordinates as needed. Responsibilities include
interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising
performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; maintaining a safe work environment; addressing
complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications
Must be able to:
* Perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

* Occasional travel is required for business related activities.
* Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain Forklift/Stacker and CPR/First Aid certifications.
* Must maintain a valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation at all times and automobile
insurance acceptable to Goodwill's liability insurance provider
