JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Job Posting Details - Part-Time (PRN) Exercise Physiologist The University Fitness Center is seeking part-time (PRN) personnel to support its fitness operations. Duties include supervising the fitness center environment and member activities, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for program and facility participants. This position may also be responsible for providing member and client exercise services including: conducting functional capacity evaluations, establishing exercise prescriptions for members and medically-referred patients, implementing personal training services, and providing exercise and lifestyle consultations. The successful candidate must be a committed, reliable team player able to work under limited supervision. Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills and the ability to enforce policies are required. Applicants must be available for weekend work, early morning and evening shifts. Other shifts may also be periodically available. Suggested Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or related field CPR/AED certification NCCA accredited industry certification preferred The following clearances must be successfully completed for this position:
