We are looking for talented and highly motivated individuals to assist our test engineering team with the design and development of test systems for leading-edge military and space-based products. Under direct supervision, you will develop hardware and software for automated test systems and gain knowledge in RF, analog and digital test methods.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work independently or within a team environment.

  • Work with other interns, engineers, and engineering technicians on specific program tasks including test procedure development, test station development and data reduction software.

  • Support test software development in LabVIEW, MATLAB, Visual Basic, Python, C/C++, HT/HP Basic.

  • Design test fixture circuitry to support testing by applying knowledge and principles of electronic theory, testing methodology, and electronic engineering.

  • Generate test plans and procedures from customer and/or engineering specifications.

  • Participates in continuous improvement test related activities.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • A basic understanding and strong interest in analog and digital electronics and/or microwave theory.

  • Interest in software development and exposure to a programming language.

  • Interest in test and process automation.

  • Comfortable with hands-on work (manual trial testing, soldering, fixture assembly).

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Strong time management skills.

  • Strong analytical ability and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office.

  • Actively pursues opportunities to expand job-related knowledge.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Majoring in Electrical or Computer Engineering.

  • Electromagnetics and Microelectronics coursework preferred.

  • Programming experience desired.

This internship is for Summer 2025.

Compensation:

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$32,589 - $48,883

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
