Essential Functions |
Purpose
Champion a culture of excellence and high performance by driving organizational commitment to our values, culture, and employee engagement. Lead the charge in tracking, analyzing, and presenting fundraising performance metrics to ensure we meet our established goals.
Collaboration
Lead and inspire fundraising teams across Auburn University, coaching development staff and forging strong partnerships with campus leaders to enhance philanthropic support. Collaborate closely with the Associate Vice President to execute and oversee impactful fundraising programs, including annual giving initiatives and special projects. Cultivate and nurture relationships with donors, alumni, foundations, and corporate partners to advance Auburn's mission.
Innovation
Spearhead change initiatives that emphasize organizational growth and performance. Lead the exploration of data-driven approaches to personalize donor experiences, enhancing both engagement and long-term loyalty. Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies that leverage emerging trends and technologies to expand Auburn's donor base and enhance engagement.
Production
Travel extensively to engage with donors, prospects, and development staff, representing Auburn with passion and dedication. Operate with autonomy and flexibility, adapting to a highly externally focused role that demands frequent travel and varied hours.
