POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for orchestrating a wonderful mountain experience at various activity locations, including the Coca Cola Tube Park, Ice Skating rink, and more! This is a seasonal part time position. This position pays $20.00/hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • This position varies widely depending on location. Examples of tasks include handing out ice skates at the Mill House, making hot chocolate, selling tickets at the Tubing Park, renting out snowshoes and/or Nordic skis and boots at the Nordic Center
  • Responsible for skate sharpening and surface cleaning of the pond at Mill House Pond
  • Responsible for sizing and organizing ice skates, and snowshoes
  • Responsible for concession sales, checking in guests, and operating a position on the tubing hill
  • Sustaining outdoor fire pits
  • Additional duties as assigned


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education: Actively pursuing a Highschool Diploma or equivalent

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Willingness to work outdoors
  • Conscientious and motivated to provide great customer service
  • Be a team player and work well with others or independently
  • Able to reason and react with quick, thoughtful judgment and remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to think well on their feet and recognize hazardous situations before they arise


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
