Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for safely and efficiently entering exiting, and diverting trains using a computer-based system Following SOPs Monitoring and control all automatic trains and guideway activities Radio communications, monitoring CCTV system, dispatching trains for passenger service Monitoring system alarms and any other functions which affect the operations of the Sky Train System Responsible for the power configuration of the Electrical Power System Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all activities on the PHX Sky Train System by use of a shift logbook and pass-downs Complies with all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for employees, customers, and visitors Maintain required certifications and qualifications as they pertain to Central Control Operations Here's what you'll get: Pay Rate: $23.00 Shift hours: 6 am-2:30 pm Duration: Temp-Hire (after 4 months based on performance) Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Computer Savvy with various software Air Traffic Controller experience (preferred) Can communicate effectively and calmly via radio Able to Effectively Communicate clearly. Problem Solving Adaptability Stress Management No premium Shift. Additional Qualifications: Must have Valid Driver's license Must be a Team Player Must be able to sit for long hours (entire shift) Must pass Criminal background check Airport requirements must pass an FAA background and security check to obtain an SIDA access badge.
