Job Description:

• Under direct supervision, the BioMed tech II installs, test, repairs, maintains, and calibrates clinical medical devices following established policies and procedures and according to manufacturer guidelines and recommendations.
• Ensures adherence to hospital and departmental policies and regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Completes Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance work orders on a daily basis.
• Performs initial acceptance of new equipment and adds assets into the database.

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Electronic Eng, Biomedical (BMET), Information Technology
• 3 years related experience, or
• 5 years biomedical experience; or Military Electronics/Military Biomedical experience; or CBET with 4 years of experience in lieu of Associates Degree. Bachelors in Engineering can be substituted for 5 years of work experience
