Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking aHuman Resources Business Partner. Critical to success in this role is a self-starter with the ability to learn the business and buildstrong andcredible partnerships with leaders and employees. This role engages as a trusted teammate, advisor, coach, and consultant to improve leadership capability, team effectiveness, strategic insight, and business performance. This is a fully on-site role M-F with responsibility for supporting 2 locations in the Pompano Beach, FL area.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying opportunities and creating action plans to help drive employee engagement.
  • Help support the facilities' organizational structure by working strategically with the leaders on-site to align employees in their roles.
  • Counsel leaders concerning employee work-related issues such as staffing, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and performance reviews.
  • Apply HR best practices and principles, consultingwith HR Manager when necessary; recommend operating policies and procedural improvements for the HR department.
  • Provide exceptional service to employees and managers by reinforcing our HR Operating model and providing direction quickly, completely and professionally.
  • Onboard new employees and provide check-ins in first 90 days of employment.
  • Complete exit interviews with employees voluntarily terming from the organization.
  • Participate in onsite Town Hall meetings and proactively share relevant HR updates with the team.
  • Be employee centric.Assist employees with a wide range of tasks including but not limited to questions, training, and password management coaching.
  • Ad hoc projects as described by manager.

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in an HRBP capacity
  • 2+ years of HR experience supporting hourly employees
  • Strong preference of bilingual skills (Spanish or Haitian Creole)
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of human resources principles and practices
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Excel, Outlook,and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information,perform varied work that is complex in nature with independent judgment, and interact with a diverse group of internal & external customers
  • Growth mindset with natural curiosity
  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment
  • Interact constructively and effectively with manufacturing employees
  • Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal
  • Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects

  • Demonstrated ability to enhance and effectively deliver programs to diverse audiences through your understanding and value of knowledge-of-self, language, culture, and community.
  • Understands, utilizes, and reviews data to help identify potential data gaps and opportunities
  • Experience working with a diverse population of employees
