Job Description

NetImpact has an opportunity for a ServiceNow Business Analyst to join our talented IT Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and documenting business processes and systems. They assist with capturing requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria that will translated into solutions delivered using ServiceNow. They will also assist with quality assurance testing, process documentation, and training materials.

Responsibilities:

    Assist with definition, analysis, design, and implementation of IT solutions around customer business processes, governance, and management issues.
  • Understand and advise on customer business processes that the NetImpact IT solution supports
  • Support building a requirements framework and use case structure
  • Plan, structure, and facilitate group requirements sessions
  • Translate customer functional requirements into business and technical solutions and demonstrate that the intended outcome meets the customer requirements
  • Develop acceptance test plans, definition of done, and QA processes, and assist with acceptance test with customer stakeholders
  • Assist with training curriculum and materials and lead customer training sessions
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation and project deliverables.
  • Serve as Scrum Master, responsible for ensuring that Scrum based agile methodology is followed for new implementation/major enhancements
  • Responsible for working with Process Owners and Investment SME to define requirements and create well-written user stories that meet the criteria required to deliver a successful product
  • Sprint retrospectives
  • Responsible for planning and executing ServiceNow sprints in a manner that ensures continuity of service
  • Ensure developed functionality meets MVP requirements and SAF policies and standards
  • Support all design, testing and documentation efforts
  • Develop a comprehensive Test Plan that articulates our testing approach
  • Support the development of all deliverables
  • Support developing and executing the OCM strategies


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or Business-related discipline and 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst, Or Master's degree in related discipline and 2+ years experience
  • Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow products and platform implementation in a Business Analyst role
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile development designing, creating, and configuring ServiceNow solutions
  • Demonstrated experience eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process reviews, and task and workflow analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, decomposing high-level information into detailed requirements (e.g., Epics and User Stories)
  • Experience supporting testing and performing a gap analysis of current state test efforts
  • Experience with process and workflow modeling and business process engineering
  • Must have the ability to work well with clients to determine implementation requirements and execute a plan to meet those requirements in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products
  • Advanced problem-solving, administrative, and analytical skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Must have an active secret clearance

Preferred

  • Experience with IT Portfolio Management and Federal CPIC and/or TBM processes a plus
  • Experience with ServiceNow SPM and Proven Optics a plus
  • Experience with ITIL Service Management processes. ITIL Foundations certification a plus.
