Design Transportation Engineer.

• We're looking for all levels (INDOT) is the experience required.
• 5-8 years of demonstrated experience in roadway and/or bridge design and plan preparation on transportation projects for DOT clients. INDOT experience is a plus
• If you have someone who has INDOT experience with at least 3-4 years working for another engineering service company and is ready to sit for their PE, we would be interested in seeing those as well
• 
  

  Design transportation engineers are going to be doing highways, roadways, bridges.

  BS in Civil Engineering required.

  
  
• 
  

  Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus

  
  
• 
  

  Candidate may report in-office or work a hybrid schedule.

  
  
• 
  

  Indiana resident highly preferred.

  
  
• 
  

  Experience in design software. Experience in Experience in Microstation and OpenRoads designer is a plus

  
  
• 
  

  Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  
  
• 
  

  Traffic modeling, roundabout design, drainage design and/or highway lighting design experience is a plus

  
  
• 
  

  Experienced in the design of roadways and drainage for INDOT (or other DOT clients) with the ability to oversee and assist in analyses, developing calculations, and preparing contract documents (PS&E) in accordance with state and local agency requirements
