Location: Lippincott - 303 Lippincott DriveEmployment Type: EmployeeEmployment Classification: RegularTime Type: Full timeWork Shift: 1st Shift (United States of America)Total Weekly Hours: 40Additional Locations: Job Information: Summary: Position Responsibilities: Formulates business strategies based on market research and competitor analysis. developing Virtua's strategy for ambulatory surgical and other business development activities, market intelligence and engaging potential MSO and large group physician partners. Evaluate, and present for consideration, ASC and other partnership opportunities working internally within Virtua and externally across the region. Develop recruitment team to implement strategy to expand ambulatory health system service lines and integration of services throughout existing and new market base. Works closely with Directors of regional recruitment and operational leaders to maintain a cogent and effective recruitment process Provide physician recruitment assistance to contracted Virtua ASC's. Identify prospective physician partners in the market. Identify new physician users and potential investors and present the benefits of performing procedures at the contracted Virtua ASCs. Report status of ongoing efforts to contracted ASC boards Maintain an updated list of licensed ASCs and one room centers/practices across the state of NJ, DE, and PA. Identify top partnership prospects. Initiate contact with potential partners, introducing Virtua and its statewide network. Rank and rate opportunities. Maintain a database of potential ASC physicians and unaffiliated center partners. Assist with various stages of ASC and other ambulatory development and partnership activities. Participate in review and development of legal documents. Track due diligence activities of potential new acquisitions, ensuring complete review of all documents, to mitigate risk. Participate in strategy discussions and identify potential physicians for employment or leasing through VMG. Meet with interested physicians across NJ, PA, DE to present employment and alignment options. Assess value of potential physician employment/ leasing arrangements assisting with analytics and present opportunities for partnership to VMG leadership. Collaborate with Virtua Managed Care staff to assess existing payer contracts for regional coverage. Recommend and reach out, as needed, to alternative insurance plans that are not currently contracted with Virtua. Recommend specific pricing and contracting strategies. Participate with the team to complete analytics for appropriate contracting rates. Develop relationships with key payer contacts to present opportunity to fill gaps in payer contacts and narrow network provider plans inside and outside NJ. Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required: Previous healthcare and sales experience desirable. Minimum of 5 years' experience in the healthcare sector with physician interactions and proven success to influence change, A demonstrated ability to influence and direct staff and physicians as well as a proven track record of success. Strong data analytics and finance skills are also valuable attributes. Experience interacting with various processes and tracking multiple activities would also be very valuable Required Education: Training/Certifications/Licensure: Previous sales development training is helpful. Clinical training or exposure in ambulatory surgical services is desirable. Payer contracting modeling and knowledge would also be beneficial. |
