As part of a diverse community of faculty and staff who represent many faith systems and worldviews, the Department of Anatomy and Pathology at Marian University, Wood College of Osteopathic Medicine (MU-WCOM) is seeking applications for a 12-month tenure-track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Pathology, to promote our Catholic Franciscan mission and identity by joining our diverse and collaborative academic community to contribute to the education of medical students and our Masters of Biomedical Science students. We are committed to developing osteopathic physicians through a curriculum that emphasizes a robust and integrated understanding of basic and clinical sciences for practical patient care. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with a team of dedicated faculty to design and deliver pathology content as part of a comprehensive, systems-based medical curriculum. Faculty at MU-WCOM play a pivotal role in facilitating an in-depth comprehension of the human body's normal processes, as well as the integration and regulation of these processes in both health and disease. In this role, you will focus on instructing students in concepts related to the pathology of human health and the mechanisms underlying the development of various disease states. Opportunities also exist for teaching within your area of specific expertise within pathology or related disciplines. Evans Center for Health Sciences, which features The Browning Anatomy Lab equipped with 36 cadaveric dissection stations, each with computer terminals. Additionally, we have The Hill Rom Simulation Center, offering students realistic, hands-on training in a safe and controlled environment.
