Description

Position Summary:

The Fulfillment Production Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the fulfillment process by analyzing and optimizing pick planning, order processing, and distribution strategies. This role involves collaborating with various departments to align fulfillment plans with business goals, improving efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Assists in researching inventory and item fulfilment issues for immediate and accurate resolution.

Assist in maintaining optimized ERP, WMS systems and operations environment within the distribution center to allow for accurate inventory control, the efficient processing and shipping of sales orders, and excellent customer service. This role will participate in process improvement projects and other company initiatives that have an impact on operations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (And additional duties as assigned)

Pick Planning Responsibilities:



  • Partner with fulfillment center leadership on producing daily pick plans for direct, wholesale independent and wholesale international channels
  • Assist with optimizing fulfillment planning for all sales channels
  • Assist inventory team with clearing up problem picks and stock issues within bins



Data and reporting Responsibilities:



  • Enter, research, review, analyze and report on data in various systems to support warehouse leadership in the timely and accurate processing of all orders.
  • Compile data and provide various regular and ad hoc reports to management for review and decision-making. This is both known and scheduled reports as well as new reports intended to illuminate new opportunities and challenges for resolution.
  • Spend adequate time on the production floor to observe and assist management in the best use of all data and insight to drive continuous improvement throughout.
  • This is a hands-on role with initiative and active engagement a must.



Process Improvement Responsibilities:



  • Participate in cross-function projects to improve operational efficiency
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams to align fulfillment strategies with business objectives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fulfillment and report on performance metrics.



Supervisory Responsibilities:N/A.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:



  • Associates Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 warehouse operational experience in a WMS environment.
  • NetSuite/RF-Smart knowledge preferred.



Location: Fulton, NY with ability to travel to Aurora, NY location as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Good familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to communicate to a diverse employee group and foster a cooperative work environment clearly and concisely.
  • Computer proficiency including word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, and generating reports using standard software applications.
  • Ability to extract data by building specific criteria and use an analytical mindset to build models and repeatable reporting in Excel.
  • Keen ability to determine process flow and introduce process improvements based on observation, employee feedback and input and analytical insight.
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneously while delivery projects on strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in all matters.



Equipment Used:

Computer, printer, telephone, photocopier, scanner, calculator, pallet jack, tablet.

Computer Software: Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, NetSuite.

Physical and Mental Requirements:



  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists.
  • Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to move objects.
  • Close mental and visual attention required to perform work dealing primarily with preparing, analyzing, and interpreting data and figures, using a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading.



Environmental Conditions:

The worker is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions including temperature changes, noise, extreme heat, extreme cold and dust.
