The Peabody Essex Museum (PEM), one of the largest and most dynamic art museums in the nation, is seeking an Institutional Giving Manager. For over 220 years, PEM has been an anchor in the community, serving as a gathering place where anyone can learn, derive inspiration, and gain a deeper appreciation for shared human experiences from around the globe and through time.

The Peabody Essex Museum's Institutional Giving Officer is responsible for growing and managing PEM's annual Corporate Membership program and annual foundation support. They also work closely with the Director of Institutional Giving on the museum's corporate sponsorship efforts and to continually develop and refine corporate partnership opportunities - executing strategies to engage the broader business community. The Institutional Giving Officer collaborates with colleagues across the museum to maximize institutional giving revenue by producing competitive sponsorship proposals and grant applications to advance the museum's fundraising priorities. In addition, the Institutional Giving Officer is responsible for managing the submission of reports in a timely manner, identifying new funding sources, and proactively managing the cultivation and stewardship of institutional funders.

PEM is looking for candidates who have experience successfully partnering with corporate and foundation donors/partners; are comfortable engaging with foundation and business leaders of all levels; are organized, detail-oriented, creative, and have the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Three to five years of work experience is required, including experience in grant writing and/or corporate philanthropy. Exceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-suite are required; experience in Tessitura or other fundraising/CRM database is desirable. A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The hiring range for this role is $65,000 to $70,000 commensurate with experience.
