SUMMARY:

The Internal Operations Supervisor is responsible for effectively organizing and coordinating the workflow of branch operations impacting order processing, permitting, revenue recognition, installer pay, accounts receivable, and scheduling. This position is also responsible for the implementation of lean processes within these functions.

This role will have the flexibility of working in office 4x week and 1x week remote with the primary office location in Jessup, MD, located at 8265 Patuxent Range Rd.,

Jessup, MD. There will be some time also working out of the Chantilly, VA office located at 14120 Sully Field Circle, Chantilly, VA.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Supervise the schedule of service and install appointments, maximizing efficiency of teams and delivering high level of customer service throughout the process.



  • Manage data input into designated computer systems to assure accuracy and maximize first time throughout the process.



  • Coordinate and oversee job folders and other documents related to operational functions.



  • Responsible for A/R with a focus on maintaining lowest level possible.



  • Ensure open communication between sales, operations and install teams on a daily basis.



  • Lead and develop lean, efficient, and standardized methods within functions, with a consistent emphasis on continuous improvement.



  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.



  • Provide training and direct daily work of direct reports.




QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:



  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of outstanding customer service experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education.



  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.



  • Proven ability to remain calm during stressful situations.



  • Excellent organizational skills.



  • Demonstrated leadership skills in directing, managing, and motivating employees.



  • Excellent communication skills.



  • Excellent analytical skills.



  • Dependability in meeting deadlines, follow-through, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
