The Cost Controller will have financial responsibility on manufacturing operations and product cost controlling for product manufactured in AMS plants.
The Cost Controller will communicate and respond to any inter-departmental requests, such as Corporate Team, Fixed Asset Team, Internal Audit Team. The successful candidate will also drive the digitalization of reporting, analysis and planning of plant operations. This role will perform various finance and accounting tasks with direct impact on the financial performance of the plant

Job Description:

  • Product costing, standard cost updates, analysis on cost variance and preparation of costing reports
  • Identify root-cause of cost deviations and drive applicable corrective actions via digital solutions.
  • Analyzes and attributes variable and fixed cost portion to the respective cost accounts.
  • Conducts variable costs and fixed costs analysis.
  • Ensures the accuracy of plant product cost criteria (i.e. material, labor, factory overhead, etc).
  • Guides technical partners in commercial and financial matters.
  • Maintains annual standard calculations schemes for machine usage, material, labor, and overhead, and provides cost calculation base for product pricing.
  • Supporting continuous opportunity creation to reduce product cost and to improve the overall COS cost structure.
  • Support and drive productivity within the location.
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis in support AMS FI director, Plant Head.

Experience & Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) in FI preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in Accounting/Finance roles
  • Experience in Manufacturing environment and having a good understanding of Healthcare Industry dynamics.
  • In-depth understanding of Cost Accounting, Variance Analysis and Financial Reporting
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
  • Ability to transition from non-digital to digital solutions.
  • Financial planning experience required, including written and verbal communication, as well as good presentation skills.

Technologies required:

  • Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems as well as BI tools like QlikView, Jedox, Power BI etc. desired.

  • Ability, competence, and confidence to influence people.
  • Effective interpersonal skill
  • Detail oriented, highly organized and have the ability to work with voluminous data.
  • High analytical aptitude and a strong drive to learn.
  • Willingness to take initiative, seek and accept new challenges, have a high level of curiosity as it relates to new projects and find solutions to problems.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast paced and quickly changing environment.

The base pay range for this position is

Min $107,600 - Max $193,600

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
