Job Summary

The Jack D. Gordon Institute is looking for a Data Analyst II who is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. Conducts big data analysis, creates geo-spatial oriented dashboards, applies text-mining and AI, and conducts geo-spatial data curation, selection, and identification for the SRH data portal.

  • Works with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
  • Collects and analyzes data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
  • Assesses the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
  • Develops custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
  • Uses predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, and targeting and other business outcomes.
  • Develops company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
  • Coordinates with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
  • Develops processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years of appropriate experience or a Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations.
  • Experience using GIS platform.
  • Experience with data visualization.
  • Experience with web development.
