Related positions are contingent on board approval. The Educational Specialist II - Secondary Literacy (9-12) is located within the Office of English Language Arts and Literacy and will support secondary literacy efforts within Baltimore City Public Schools (City Schools), including but not limited to assessments, curriculum, and professional development. The secondary literacy specialist will assist with developing and improving curriculum aligned to the Maryland College and Career-Ready Standards and the City Schools Instruction Models for Literacy for grades 9-12. They will work with partners and vendors to identify quality practices and resources and design professional development to support teaching and learning in the district. Essential Functions
