JOB PURPOSE: The Program Manager is responsible for the overall program to include fiscal oversight, development and implementation of Rapid Deployment Services (RDS). The Program Manager is responsible for compliance with grant and contractual requirements, meeting performance objectives and timely reporting goals of the assigned contracts. This position ensures program staff serve and meet the needs of our customers. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Emergency Management or related field; Master's degree preferred. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3-5 year of experience working with budgets, compliance, emergency management and emergency response. Certified Texas Emergency Manager-International Association of Emergency Managers preferred, FEMA Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program certification in disaster planning and business continuity or National Incident Management System Certification, including Incident Command System certificates in 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, and 800 or ability to obtain in 90 days. Past experience working with Federal, State and local contracts providing emergency services resulting from a critical incident or declared disaster. ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion. LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record. VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice. Up to 10% travel within a multi- county region. OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must pass criminal and related background checks. Must be available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required to meet business needs. Must pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.
