Job Description

We are currently hiring a Blend Technician in Cincinnati, OH.

Initially, this person will be responsible for understanding the Base Alcohol fermentation and Hard Cider, Tea, and Seltzer blending processes.Upon completing the training, the successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operation and quality of BBC products within the Blend Department.

What You'll Brew:



  • Base Alcohol and Blend Product Sensory evaluation in coordination with Sensory lead
  • Work autonomously in the Base Alcohol and Blend operations, which includes Base Alcohol fermentations, Base Alcohol processing, and loadout, ISEP Operations, and blending of final Tea, Cider, and Seltzer product lines
  • Base Alcohol fermentations - build successful in-spec fermentations utilizing necessary specified materials
  • Monitor and maintain the fermentation to deliver an in-spec product. Ensure fermentation cycles follow established temperature profiles per recipe. Communicate and document changes in process parameters and raw materials
  • Base Alcohol Processing - Coordinate the processing of Base Alcohol through centrifuge and filtration operations
  • This will also include Base Alcohol loadout, data management, and general communication with customers
  • ISEP Operations - Deliver 100% in-spec product from the ISEP to storage tanks for shipment to contract partners and use for mixing of final Blend products
  • Batch Blending of Hard Cider, Tea, and Seltzer products - Deliver 100% in-spec product on time to meet the production schedules by following the batch sheet and procedures correctly
  • In-Line Blending - coordinate with the production schedule to deliver 100% in-spec product on time by following batch sheets and procedures correctly and utilizing an In-Line Blending and Pre-Blend Tote system to feed the packaging line

  • 2+ years' brewing experience in the brewing/manufacturing industry


Level: 9

In accordance with pay transparency lawsthe pay rate for this role if hired is $26 per hour.
