Overview The Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Cuyahoga DD) is seeking an Early Intervention Physical Therapist to promote optimal level of function for the health and safety of individuals with developmental disabilities and those who are eligible for Cuyahoga DD services through various appropriate therapeutic techniques within guidelines as established by Ohio laws and rules of practice and professional codes of ethics and philosophy of Cuyahoga DD. The assignment for this position is Early Intervention (toddlers birth to 3). The nature of work will include, but is not limited to the following:
Perform Physical Therapy screening and/or assessments to individuals in various settings as appropriate using record review, interview, observation, and selected assessment instruments as appropriate according to departmental procedures.

Our newly hired therapists are also assigned a dedicated mentor for the first 12 months. ** SALARY : The salary range for newly hired Physical Therapists is between $65,000 - $73,500 as dictated by the collective bargaining agreement (CBA). The initial salary is determined based on experience and highest level of education. It is the Cuyahoga DD's intent to pay a salary that is reasonable and competitive based on the market rate for the position as well as the language of CBA. Because we are also committed to our current employees, we must consider internal equity when making salary offers. Remote Work: Our positions are not remote. There is an onsite expectation for all of our positions. Although we do permit some remote work at home with flexible, hybrid work schedules for some of our positions, we do expect staff to be able to commute to our facilities in Cuyahoga County, Ohio on a regular basis. We have facilities in Parma, Cleveland, and Highland Hills, Ohio. All employees will be based in one of these three cities. We do not currently offer any fully remote positions. All positions come with the expectation that the employee will work onsite at an assigned facility in Cuyahoga County some days each week as directed. Qualifications
