Part-Time Faculty - CPD OSHA

Teaching OSHA - CPD related course work.

Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an ""as needed"" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.

CPD courses may be taught at any campus, or at an external training site.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate Degree (or higher level degree) in an appropriately relevant field.
• Five (5) years of industry experience; OR
• Ten (10) years of industry experience in lieu of education requirement; OR
• Hold a Licensure/Certification or relevant experience that would lead to the competencies required for successful performance of the position's essential duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in teaching CPD-OSHA coursework in higher education.
• Certification/Licensure within specific area of instructional responsibility is desirable and may be required in some cases if applicable.
