Research Compliance Job Description
The UM System Research Security Analyst will support all universities within the UM System by working closely with the Research Security Officers at each university within the UM System and with the Director of Research Security and Compliance with the development of Standard Operating Procedures for Research Security Programs throughout the UM System. This candidate will maintain familiarity with NSPM-33, the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022, and other federal agency requirements. Additionally, they will work closely with other departments like Conflict of Interest and Sponsored Programs by providing deep dive reviews related to disclosures to the University and to federal sponsors. Due to the nature of this position, the candidate must be eligible to access export controlled information. While in-person work is preferred, remote work will be considered for the appropriate candidate. Shift

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Experience in export controls, legal services, research compliance, research administration, and/or higher education. This candidate must be able to access export controlled information. Anticipated Hiring Range
