Position Summary:
Person will be responsible for taking full control of CQC plan for Sauer on a project in Camp Lejeune, NC. The candidate will be responsible for overall management of the CQC plan and having full authority to act in all QC matters. Essential Functions: - Capable of coordinating with many Subcontractors - Efficient/Able to plan days, weeks in advance - Detail driven - Skillful communicator with client/subcontractors - Able to conduct QCM weekly meeting in a highly professional manner and instill confidence in client in the QC operations - Perform/coordinate inspections - Upload and manage QC data on a daily basis - Perform submittal review functions - Proficient completing required daily documentation Qualifications: - Candidate must have 10 years of combined experience as a Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer and at least 3 years' experience as a QC Manager or degree in Construction Management, engineering with 5 years construction experience and 2 years QCM relative experience. - Certificate for "Construction Quality Management for Contractors" from USACE - 30 Hour OSHA in construction - Excellent knowledge of quality control inspection standards, procedures and applicable codes required - Strong verbal and written communication skills Skills/Competencies: Job requires the employee to sit, walk, stand, climb, bend/twist at the neck, bend/twist at the trunk, squat/stoop/kneel, reach above head, reach forward, push/pull, lift and carry.
