Department: WCAS Art Theory & Practice

Assistant professor, tenure-track. Applicants must have an MFA or equivalent, full-time teaching experience, and a significant record of exhibitions or related professional activities. Other qualifications include knowledge of contemporary critical and theoretical issues. Leadership skills, a strong commitment to both undergraduate and graduate teaching, and participation in university academic life are expected. Minority candidates are especially encouraged to apply. Teaching commitment is 5 courses taught over 3 quarters, one of which is independent study with graduate students. Proposed start date September 1, 2020. Priority will be given to applications received by January 15, 2020.
