Key Contributions

As a Software Engineer on our EMSO team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated software solutions that enhance our electronic warfare test capabilities. You will work alongside a team of talented engineers and scientists to create cutting-edge systems that aid our most important defense customers, and their missions. This is a dynamic role working with customers to create accurate simulation SW and models of RADAR systems for Keysight threat simulation platforms. You will be part of a diverse, high-profile team within a high growth area for the company that has projects and results visible to senior leaders of Keysight.

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer- with a specialization High Performance Networking for the development of a real-time simulation application for our Aerospace Defense & Government Solutions group. This will require the use of modern SW development platforms and technologies (100GbE+ networking, RDMA, gRPC, etc) to meet the demanding performance requirements. Core Responsibilities

  • Software development in C# with emphasis in data structures/algorithms
  • Test, maintain, and launch software products
  • Design software and network architectures
  • Work on large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networking, with compute technologies or hardware architecture.
  • Support Plan, build, and maintain computer networks and network infrastructure, while also monitoring network data and assessing and fixing day-to-day problems.
  • Configure implement, manage and maintain networking hardware/ networking switch infrastructure
  • Manage RDMA to improve throughput and performance while lowering latency
  • Design applications to remove bottlenecks in networking throughput and minimal latency
  • Define and develop optimized network monitoring, automation systems

Other contributions that may arise:

  • Upgrade infrastructure via code changes as required to improve performance and to address Tech Debt
  • Monitor network capacity and performance and address issues proactively
  • Lead periodic disaster recovery testing of the network
  • Work may include cybersecurity, operations, automation, and unified communications (UC)
  • You may work on projects such as: information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing(optional), UI design

Qualifications

  • BSEE/BSCS or BSCE or equivalent education, with emphasis in Software networking
  • Minimum 3-5+ years of Software development experience with C#, and data structures/algorithms.
  • 3+ years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products
  • Experience with software design and architecture
  • Proven experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networking, or experience with compute technologies or hardware architecture.
  • Understanding of networking protocols: IPV4, IPV6, TCP, UDP, Multicast, VLANS, DNS, DHCP, and others.
  • Understanding of 100GbE & faster networking hardware
  • Proven experience in RDMA
  • Design applications to help remove bottlenecks in networking throughput and minimal latency
  • Ability to configure networking switch infrastructure (Duplicate of 10 above)
  • C/C++,Python and/or MATLAB are helpful but not essential
  • This position requires a U.S. person. Employment in this position for non-U.S. persons is contingent on ability to obtain any required government authorizations.
  • Based on Customer program requirements, Candidates must be eligible and willing to obtain and maintain a US DOD security clearance

Colorado pay range: MIN $101,080.00- Max $168,470.00

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
