About Ameren Missouri Ameren Missouri has been providing electric and gas service for more than 100 years, and our electric rates are among the lowest in the nation. Ameren Missouri's mission is to power the quality of life for our 1.2 million electric and 132,000 natural gas customers in central and eastern Missouri. Our service area covers 64 counties and more than 500 communities including the greater St. Louis area. About The Position The Turbine Engineer is responsible for developing, planning, and executing turbine-generator projects and providing technical expertise on turbine-generator designs, inspections, repairs and/or replacements within the Ameren Missouri Fleet. Key responsibilities include:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable engineering discipline from an accredited college or university required. Recent graduates will be considered. Five or more years of experience in steam or combined cycle gas turbine-generator maintenance, operations and/or project management at fossil and/or nuclear power plants preferred. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Background with MHC and/or EHC turbine controls, DCS logic or large rotating machinery balancing experience preferred. Some electrical systems experience desired. Ability to work a variable shift schedule that can include overtime and call-outs on nights, weekends and holidays and, at time, lengthy durations of plant support duty is required. Additional InformationAmeren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include candidate testing and/or an individual aptitude or skill-based assessment. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates. Compensation Range: $67,700.00 - $130,600.00* This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant's credentials. At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
