The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) is located on Keysight's campus in Santa Rosa, CA. PMTC provides mechanical solutions that enable the capabilities of Keysight's industry leading electronic measurement equipment. As a Machinist Intern, you will develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting edge machine tools such as Swiss Style Lathes, 3 to 5 axis Milling centers and multi-axis Mill/Turn machines. Working closely with Journeyman Machinists, you will learn all the skills needed to become a certified Journeyman Machinist in the State of California. This position is a Four-year apprenticeship to complete the CTMAA program to become a Journeyman Machinist. Keysight Technologies will cover the cost of tuition and any required textbooks for the classes. Responsibilities Machinist Intern Requirements: The Machinist Apprentice is required to meet all CTMAA standards set by the CTMAA Committee. The Apprentice will report to a Machining Supervisor. Candidates must be registered at Santa Rosa Junior College and stay enrolled to maintain Apprenticeship employment at Keysight. Responsibilities include:

The ideal candidate has a knack for precision and detail, willingness to learn and works well as a team member. A positive/can do attitude, dedication and flexibility are a must. Candidates selected for this position will have the opportunity to operate precision machining equipment and rotate through several areas of the Machinist trade such as: Milling, Turning, Wire EDM, Deburr, Grinding and Metrology. Pay Range: $20-35/hour |
