Position Summary Be the difference supporting those who need access to safe and stable housing. All people deserve a safe place to call home. Join Heading Home Corps, together we can make a make an impact on homelessness! As a Housing Resource Navigator, you will help people overcome barriers and achieve their housing goals. You'll serve at a nonprofit organization and public agency that has a mission in housing advocacy, social services, and/or public assistance. Heading Home Corps provides you with valuable, hands-on experience and provides the training and professional development you need to be successful. You provide the compassion, dedication, and time that our communities need. Join our AmeriCorps team on a mission to help others secure safe and stable housing! It Starts with a Passion Our Navigators come from all walks of life. The most important qualification is a passion to take action for your community - and meet the following minimum qualifications. By the time they begin their service, our Navigators are:
*Applicants who have received deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security are not eligible to serve in our programs at this time. DACA applicants may be eligible for Americorps VISTA programs, for more information click here. Perks Package While you're making a difference, you'll receive a paycheck (stipend) every two weeks and additional perks!
