Join the Pharmaceutical Calibrations and Instrumentation (PCI) team! We are seeking a Calibration Technician that can perform calibrations onsite at our client pharmaceutical facilities in San Diego, CA and other locations as needed. If you prefer working at a fast pace, "on the go" instead of at a desk, have a passion for performing quality work, and have a strong electronics or instrumentation background, this position may be just for you! This specific position is primarily embedded within a San Diego facility, but may service other clients in the area as well. In the future, up to 50% travel may be required based on project and client needs, as this is still considered a "field service" position. This position will focus on performingpreventive maintenance, qualifications, relocations and calibrationsona variety ofprocess instruments such as electronics, temperature devices, pressure gauges, centrifuges, incubators, balances, and others as found in pharmaceutical manufacturing and laboratory environments. The Calibration Technician reports directly to the Team Leader, Manager, or Director depending on the organizational structure. This is a full time, hourly position. Hiring range for this position is $35-$43 per hour. Expectations: Calibration Technicians complete calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with accurate and timely GxP documentation, following PCI and/or client specific policies and procedures.They are expected to take a proactive role in supporting the Team and in providing client support and are expected to build a high level of trust with internal and client personnel. Experience & Education Desired: At least a two-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, other related technical fieldORequivalent military training and two years of applicable (Metrology, Instrumentation, Calibration) experienceORthe equivalent combination of education and experience. Quality System/ISO17025/Pharmaceutical experience is preferred. Competitive with compensation: dependant upon level of experience, education and certifications.
