NaphCare is hiring Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians, Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs / EMTs), or Paramedics to join our team at the Washoe County Jail in Reno, NV. Full Time Day Shifts, Full Time Night Shifts, Part Time, PRN, and 8-13-week temporary contracts are available!

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for AEMT/EMT/Paramedic:

  • Take and document all patient history and vital signs
  • Complete intake screening
  • Administer and read PPD
  • Draw blood
  • Assist with examinations


Qualifications

Qualifications for AEMT/EMT/Paramedic:

  • Office Lab Assistant License required (Needed only for Nevada.)
  • Must hold and maintain a current, unrestricted certification/license in NV.
  • A valid CPR card
  • A minimum of 1-year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred
