Postdoctoral Associate - CALS Division of Nutritional Sciences

A Postdoctoral Associate position is open in the Johnson lab to study how dietary intake of bioactive lipids and production of bioactive lipids from the gut microbiome can influence mammalian phenotypes. The Johnson lab uses genetic, genomic, and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) based-lipidomic approaches to understand lipid-dependent host-microbe interactions. More information about research in the Johnson Lab can be found at The successful candidate will be expected to run and maintain the in-lab LC-MS in order to conduct research investigating how bioactive lipids influence host-microbe interactions in human tissue culture, mouse, and human systems. The initial appointment is for a year with the opportunity to extend based on performance.
